INFORMATION

Although the Board Members and staff at Children's Charity Fund, Inc. come from different walks of life, religions and ethnic backgrounds: they share one thing in common, an abiding concern for children.

One of the purposes of Children's Charity Fund, is to assist a disabled or handicapped child who lives at home, to be able to do so as independently as possible. Once we are contacted we start assisting the disabled or handicapped child. In most cases this is a lifetime commitment. The child's lifetime.

Joey is profoundly deaf. The Cochlear implant is the only procedure available to provide a sensation of hearing to deaf individuals who do not benefit from conventional amplification. The ability to use the Cochlear implant has greatly improved his life. Joey is a very bright boy and is highly motivated to obtain the maximum benefit possible from his implant, recognizing that it is the sole treatment available for his profound hearing loss.

Joey's Update

Recently Joey has been mainstreamed into a class room with normal hearing students. With donations Joey was granted this hearing aid that cost approx $ 3,000.00
