Many of our children that are helped with your donation, the Parents have exhausted all other means in trying to help the child. Sometimes the child lives with only one parent and in some cases that parent is forced to stay home to care for that child and the financial status of the family is drained. Many families do not have the funds for Health Insurance, and in some cases the Insurance do not cover Durable Medical Equipment.

In many cases the Children we help and the challenge that they face was not the fault of the child or parent, but the child must overcome the challenge that they face every day. We get up in the morning and start our day with our feet on the ground and we are able to help our self, these children depend on the care giver to start the day, we try to give the child a normal life with the equipment that you help us purchase for them.

Part of the donated funds are used for the cost of Fundraising and Management.

A Mothers Story In Hopes This Will Never Happen To Your Child.

When a family loses a child the way our family lost our little girl, through a senseless, tragic reaction to a vaccine, and they are left to deal with the results, they are simply not prepared. We were not prepared for the agony that we have incurred as a result of Brittany's loss of quality of life. I was not prepared for the countless days and nights of agony, of walking the floor in pain and grief and crying tears till no more would come. Yet, this has been my life for the past seven and a half years, since Brittany became brain damaged at the age of five months.

When the hospital told me about Children's Charity Fund and the fact that such organization exists and would help us obtain the car seat we needed for our little girl, to be perfectly honest, I was amazed. I didn't think such an organization existed - but exist you do. And so on the Thursday before Christmas Eve a delivery van came to our door with the gift of the car seat from you. It goes without saying that we are grateful. But, even more important, it must be said that you are indeed a unique organization to come to the aid of people such as we - people who have lost some of the magic of life, due to the hardship of reality.
